For those Dark Clouds who don’t know, we have a charity wing dedicated to helping people and causes within the Twin Cites and beyond. And, in true Dark Clouds fashion, the Dark Clouds Silver Lining use their passion and drive to affect real change in the world.
Volunteering with the Dark Clouds Silver Lining can range from activities like volunteering at soccer tournaments, to projects like their latest event, the Paint Project for Pride in Living.
In this event, Dark Clouds Silver Lining volunteers joined forces with the nonprofit organization Project for Pride in Living (PPL) to help paint the Fort Road Flats—an apartment complex that delivers on the PPL message; to develop and sustain “quality, affordable housing for lower-income families and individuals.”
One of the great traditions with Dark Clouds Silver Lining events is the post-event food and drinks—and this event was no exception. After the event, volunteers joined at post-event sponsor Tin Whiskers Brewing Co. for a well-earned beer.
If this sounds like the kind of crowd you want to follow, there are plenty of Silver Lining events in the works. In fact, there’s an event in the works as we speak. Stay tuned to our website for the announcement on Sunday.
But, if you’re the impatient type, you can get a head start by filling out the form here and selecting Silver Lining for your area of interest.
